Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas – there I said it! It seems there is a trend this year for people to say happy holidays. I believe in happy holidays but why not Merry Christmas. Should people be offended if they hear me say Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends? NO. So why should someone be offended if they hear Merry Christmas?

I have to say that the wife and I were out shopping last night and in both Sam’s Club and Meijer we were told Merry Christmas by workers as we left. I liked hearing it and it made my Christmas spirit a little more jolly.

I was watching the “American Dad” Christmas episode the other night were the store clerk refuses to say Merry Christmas and Stan gets thrown out of the store for sticking his gun in the cashiers mouth and trys to get him to say, “Merry Christmas.”

So whatever you celebrate . . . do it . . . say it . . . enjoy it!
