As a marketing person and a photographer sometimes you just don’t have time to create the image you need. I had such an issue last Friday. My wifes website (a-girlygirl.com) had been running a splash page spoofing the recent election. Well the election was a few days over and we had to come up with a new idea. Black friday is a big deal but we weren’t going to open at 5am to deep discount a few items - so what do you do?
We decided to advertise a time to relax and for women to shop for themselves after the hassle of fighting at Walmart. I didn’t have a picture in my own files so I went to a stock photography site. As a photographer I wish I had one of my own but time didn’t permit setting one up. So I paid to use another photographers work for a few weeks. Oh well, I hope that someone returns me the favor in the future.
